Bored In the House: Ariana Grande Recreates ‘The Waterboy’ Scenes With Family and Friends

Let’s be honest. We all have so much time on our hands these days. You can spout that “be productive during this pandemic” all you want, but at the end of the day it’s only so much you can do until you get bored. Being creative is taking people to new heights as many celebrities are trying their best to keep themselves entertained and entertain the masses. Case in point, Ariana Grande.

First off I know she has to have a home studio at this point. Sis can bust out a single for the kids, but I did just say being productive can get boring, so I’ll give my hardworking Pop star a break. Grande is going back to her acting roots during the quarantine by recreating scenes from the 1998 Adam Sandler film “The Waterboy.”

In the film Sandler stars Bobby Boucher, a rather dimwitted waterboy for a college football team who ends up being a star player when he discovers his unique gift for the game. His overbearing mom (Kathy Bates) and love interest Vicki Vallencourt (Fairuza Balk) make for interesting dynamics during the film and have become the source of Grande’s video recreations.

On April 5, Grande posted the first clip of herself as Bobby interacting with some ladies (Liz Gillies and Aaron Gross) in a bar. “The Waterboy” himself, Adam Sandler, saw the clip and was pleased sharing the video on his Twitter page captioned, “Bobby Boucher approves of this message.”

A few days later Ariana shared another video featuring Liz again recreating another scene from the movie, but this time Miss Joan Grande joined in on the fun and it’s honestly just perfect. I like bored Ariana.
