Benito Skinner Perfectly Captures ‘Gossip Girl’ In His Hilarious Sketches

Don’t ask why I’m on Gossip Girl‘s top lately. You should ask yourself why aren’t you.

I’ve seen comedic actor Benito Skinner’s (IG- @BennyDrama7) social media and YouTube videos before. I’m not sure how I came across his work, but it was his Gossip Girl stuff obviously that caught my attention. If you are not familiar, Gossip Girl is a teen drama series that came on The CW that followed the scandalous lives of the Upper East Side New York elite. It was a classic mid 2000’s show that looking back on it as an adult (all six seasons are streaming on Netflix) was a total beautiful mess that Benito was able to perfectly depict in his sketches.

Skinner takes on several character roles throughout the sketches like: Serena, Dan, Nate, and Chuck (played by Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick respectively on the series); while Ali Weiss (IG – @healthishell) slays Blair and Lil J (Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen). The choice of music, the wardrobe, and the way “Blair” says Serena is so on point I can’t stand it. Makes me want to GG right now.

If Gossip Girl isn’t your thing, Benito does parody videos for basically anything under the sun. He’s got comedic videos for the Kardashians, Queer Eye, Cheer, astrological signs, and a lot of random videos, so something has to tickle your Elmo.
