And the hits keep on coming.

Netflix has renewed their teen UK comedy-drama Sex Education for a third season. The news came on Monday with an official announcement from none other than Principal Groff (Alistair Petrie). As Petrie took a stroll through Moordale High halls he walked through an art exhibition explaining the teasers that were right in front of our faces the whole time with the show’s character posters released back in November.

One of the big questions fans had following the end of season 2 was what could happen between Adam (Connor Swindells) and Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) after their proclamation of love. That’s when Petrie mentioned we would find out in season 3. If you’re not a watcher, Sex Education is about a young boy named Otis (Asa Butterfield) who accidently follows in his mother’s footsteps (Gillian Anderson) as a sex therapist and starts an underground sex therapy clinic at school with some help from fellow classmate Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey). What I love about the series is how despite the age difference I have with the characters many of the sex related issues and questions are universal and that’s what makes the series so entertaining to me. The episode usually initiates a sex related problem and by the end the issue is semi resolved. Great show and I can’t wait for another season.

Sex Education season 1 and 2 are both streaming on Netflix. Watch the season 3 announcement for Sex Education in the clip below. Where are all my Sex Ed fans at? Are you excited for another season? Let me know in the comments.
