SAG Awards 2020: The Winners, The Jokes, & THAT Brad and Jen Moment

The 26th Screen Actors Guild awards, SAG, aired live on Sunday, January 19 from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. In an award show where peers celebrate peers; many of the artists who took home trophies for the evening were top contenders all award show season thus far.

Bong Joon Ho’s critically acclaimed “Parasite” took home the biggest award of the night, Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Renée Zellweger and Joaquin Phoenix earned awards for leading actress/actor in “Judy” and “Joker” (respectively). Laura Dern and Brad Pitt took home awards for their supporting roles in “Marriage Story” and “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.”

Pitt’s acceptance speech was one the most talked about moments because it was filled with jokes about a Tinder profile, Quentin Tarantino’s, and a bit of himself.

On the television side The Crown, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show) and Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) won big as well. While the focus should be on awards, another moment with Brad Pitt stole the attention from the whole show. A Brad and Jen reunion caused everyone to freak out! (Get into the video below) There were mixed feelings about the moment though; I’m on the fence. They both did look good though.
