Netflix Renews Guilty Pleasure Series ‘You’ For Season 3 – Both Leads To Reprise Roles

You’re not the type to watch any ole show…no you like to stream. You want all your episodes at once and you like to watch 10 hours of television in one sitting. You want to talk about it with your friends…and go online and spoil it for strangers. You want more and thankfully Netflix is providing…I know this because…I’m like…you.

Hands up to the streaming service gods because Netflix announced their wildly popular series You starring Penn Badgley is coming back for a third season in 2021. Sucks to be Lifetime and also sucks to be us because that seems soooo far away.

The news of season 3 came on Tuesday with the official social media pages of You spreading the news. Along with Badgley reprising his role as Joe Goldberg, season 2 newbie Victoria Pedretti will also be returning as Love Quinn. THANK GOD because I’m obsessed with her. The series will be 10 episodes and other cast members will be announced later. Series co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti will also be back as executive producers; Gamble will be the showrunner again too.

While author Caroline Kepnes’ books (You and Hidden Bodies) served as source material for the first two seasons of the show, we will now be going into uncharted territory because Kepnes has not yet written a third book in the series. Maybe it will be out before season 3 comes. We’ll have to wait and see, but I am ecstatic that another season is happening. My Virgo is going into overdrive obsession with these characters and I honestly can’t tell you why. I just love this show so much.
