The First Look At ‘Black Monday’ Season 2 Is Here With A Trailer

Why is Mo out here looking like Black Jesus?

Showtime’s untapped gem Black Monday is coming back for a second season and I need answers quick as to why Mo looks the way he does. If you are living under a rock and haven’t exposed yourself to Black Monday yet let me give you a quick run down of season one.

Don Cheadle stars as Maurice “Mo” Monroe, the big boss of a group of ambitious stock brokers in the ’80’s. Dawn (Regina Hall), Blair (Andrew Rannells), and Keith (Paul Scheer) are some of his employees who work for The Jammer Group. Season one centered around the largest stock market crash in history known as Black Monday and the series of events that lead up to it for the cast. The aftermath was pretty crazy from death, IRS informants, and one man on the run; the next season will show what happened after the crash.

,In a few months the series will return to Showtime and the first look at the upcoming season has been released with an official trailer. Blair and Tiff (Casey Wilson) seem to be really tapping into the Georgina Jeans industry. Dawn is revamping the former Jammer Group into a female led company. Keith seems to be living his best, free, gay life, and Mo is still Mo.

Black Monday season 2 premieres Sunday, March 15th at 10/9c on Showtime.
