The mystery of Brahms started back in 2016 with “The Boy.” American nanny Greta becomes the caregiver a life-like doll named Brahms and must adhere to a strict list of rules at the Heelshire Mansion. (If you didn’t see the first film here’s a great straight to the point break down.) Fast forward to 2020 and a sequel is coming next month.
In “Brahms: The Boy II,” Katie Holmes stars as Liza who moves to a guest house on the Heelshire Mansion estate with her husband and young son Jude (Christopher Convery). Upon settling in, Jude finds a buried Brahms doll out in the woods and instantly connects with it. The set of rules instilled in the first film remain with a new addition; Brahms and Jude must be together always and forever.
Naturally when a creepy doll, especially a porcelain one, is involved things are going to get strange really quick.
“Brahms: The Boy II” comes to theaters February 21, 2020.
