Before ‘Doctor Sleep,’ Relive The Mayhem of ‘The Shining’ With An Honest Trailer

Get ready to shine.

The follow-up film to the 1980 classic horror “The Shining” is coming to theaters very soon. “Doctor Sleep” depicts an adult Dan Torrance (Ewan McGregor) who comes face to face with a young girl with gifts similar to the ones he had a child and must protect her from an immortal group called The True Knot who prey on those who can shine. But before you get into the next chapter of “The Shining” franchise let’s relive the events from the Overlook Hotel.

“Based on a Stephen King novel that Stanley Kubrick threw in the trash,” Screen Junkies brings an Honest Trailer for “The Shining.” Along with “here’s Johnny” being used in countless ways because of this film, Screen Junkies pokes fun at Kubrick’s film making style, the characters interactions throughout the 2-hour plus movie, and why you shouldn’t stay in the tub for extended periods of time.
