The ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ Reboot Releases The First Trailer

“We’re all afraid of something. What are you afraid of?”

Nickelodeon’s 1990-2000 beloved thriller series Are You Afraid of the Dark? is coming back to give a fresh look for a new generation. The official trailer is out and for fans of the original this may not be The Midnight Society format you remember. I feel like this is more of the Goosebumps movie more than Are You Afraid of the Dark?

The trailer shows the new Midnight Society gathering in the woods to tell scary stories. That part is the same, but this time the story is coming true. One member of the society tells the tale of The Carnival of Doom and slowly the spooky things comes to fruition. The show is a limited series and it looks like it’s going to follow the same story unlike the original where each episode told a new one.

Submitted for the approval of The Midnight Society, the limited series Are You Afraid of the Dark? comes to Nickelodeon October 11th.
