First Look At ‘Birds of Prey And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn’

Tired of clowns? Too bad, because the baddest one around is coming in 2020. And no I’m not talking about Joaquin Phoenix’s The Joker.

During the opening of “It Chapter Two,” the first look at “Birds of Prey And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn” starring Margot Robbie as the title character was shown. The premise of the film follows Harley splitting from The Joker and joining superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a girl from an evil crime lord. The first teaser didn’t give too much, but I’m excited. I don’t like too many superhero movies, but I’m all for girl power.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Ewan McGregor, Ali Wong, and Chris Messina are all attached to the project. The film is expected to come to theaters February 7, 2020.
