Beloved comedian Dave Chappelle is coming back to Netflix with a brand new comedy special coming out in just a few short weeks making this his fifth time partnering up with the brand.
The announcement for Chappelle’s “Sticks & Stones” special came on Thursday, August 15 with some help from a familiar voice. As Dave is walking through a desert, Morgan Freeman comes in with voice over saying “This is Dave. He tells jokes for a living. Hopefully he makes people laugh, but these days it’s a high stakes game.” Dave Chappelle is hands down my favorite comedian and I honestly feel he’s gotten better with time. No further details on running time of the special have been revealed, but I will watch anything Dave is in no matter how long.
As mentioned above, this isn’t the first special Chappelle has done with the award-winning streaming service. Past Netflix specials include: “Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation,” “Dave Chappelle: Equanimity,” “The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium,” and “Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits.” All but the latter are still available to stream.
Dave Chappelle’s “Sticks & Stones” Netflix comedy special premieres on Monday, August 26.
