Netflix’s most controversial series 13 Reasons Why is premiering its third season later this month and the teaser trailer revealed a major character from the series has met his demise; the season will explore who killed him.
Bryce Walker, praised high school athlete and serial rapist, is shown at the final moments of the trailer in a portrait during a funeral service. Many of the main characters are seen suspiciously around his coffin as Mrs. Walker asks what happened to her son.
A mobile campaign about season 3 also kicked off navigating the investigation of the slain student. Before entering WhoKilledBryceWalker.com, a content advisory warns viewers that 13 Reasons Why is a fictional series and prompts you to visit 13ReasonsWhy.info if you or anyone you know needs help finding support or crisis resources. Once inside YOU become a witness and are seated across from Deputy Standall in an interrogation room. VERY TRIPPY.
Many viewers have expressed losing interest in the show, but seeing one of the most hated television characters ever end up dead is striking appeal back in the show. I for one am still invested in the kids at Liberty High and I do enjoy a murder mystery. I’m in!
Season 4 of the show is already in production and will be the final season of the series, just a FYI.
13 Reasons Why season 3 streams August 23 only on Netflix.
