Kristen Stewart Becomes A Trending Topic Following First ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Trailer Release

Kristen Stewart has been one of my girl crushes forever so seeing my cutie opening the “Charlie’s Angels” reboot trailer was a Thursday treat. The official first trailer for the film starring Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska dropped and people are voicing their conflicted opinions.

Ever since the cast for the updated “Charlie’s Angels” was announced, fans of the franchise have been spectacle especially since Lucy Liu, the girl Drew, or Cameron D will have no part in this one. That we know of. I will say I never saw the original television series or that awful attempt of a TV reboot in 2011, but I did watch the 2000 and 2003 “Charlie’s Angels” films and enjoyed those. I’m not that invested in the franchise where I would feel some type of way about new Angels, so I’m giving this one a try.

The Elizabeth Banks directed film, she also will play one of the many Bosleys, is said to be a “bold vision” and based on the 1970’s show. In the trailer we see Sabina (Stewart) and Jane (Balinska) show off some of their “skills” as they help a new client, Elena (Scott). While defending herself it seems Elena will become the new Angel. Djimon Hounsou and Patrick Stewart also play Bosleys who guide teams of Angels globally and Noah Centineo appears as a handsome nerd to bring in the younger, female audience.

A tease for the film’s theme song appears in the trailer midway through. Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey is getting a Destiny’s Child esque number for their single which will drop probably closer to the film’s release date.
