‘Black Mirror’ Season 5 Gets A Suspenseful Trailer And Release Date

We should have seen this coming.

My beloved Netflix anthology series Black Mirror is returning for an anticipated fifth season, and is coming so much closer than I ever thought. On Wednesday, May 15 a trailer for season five dropped featuring Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, and Topher Grace as some of the familiar faces starring in the three-episode season. I see they are bringing it back to season one with these little bit of episodes, but I love this show so much I’ll take what I can get.

Back in late December, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, an interactive film experience where viewers chose the outcome, dropped to pacify Black Mirror fans until next month when season five comes to Netflix.

The official trailer gives us everything without giving us nothing. As always, technology and the future of technology are at the forefront as themes and this is a great way to start hump day.

Black Mirror season 5 premieres June 5 on Netflix.
