Pennywise Has Zero Chill In The First Teaser Trailer For ‘IT Chapter Two’

For someone who doesn’t get down with clowns (I’m looking at you “Killer Klowns from Outer Space”), I’m shockingly surprised at how invested I am in the “IT” films. The first teaser trailer for “IT Chapter Two” dropped and of course it immediately went to the number one video on YouTube and the number one trending topic on Twitter.

Viewing the teaser twice before writing this and Pennywise got to chill. That old lady got to chill. And I have the chills. Even my cell phone dinging with a text message is making me jump, so fear/tension factor achieved.

Chapter Two picks up 27 years later with evil coming back to the small town of Derry, Maine. The Losers Club may be all grown up, but they are facing their childhood fear once more when Pennywise returns to wreak havoc. The trailer shows both the younger and older versions of the Losers Club and I still can’t get over how perfect this casting is for chapter 2. Just perfect! We get glimpses of Pennywise towards to end of the trailer and he’s just as creepy.

Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean join the cast with Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff,  Jack Dylan Grazer, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor reprising their roles. Bill Skarsgård also returns as Pennywise.
