Jonathan Van Ness Returns For Finale Season of ‘Gay of Thrones’

Before Jonathan Van Ness was changing lives on Netflix’s Queer Eye as part of the new Fab Five, I discovered him when I was searching for ways to understand Game of Thrones. If you watch the show you know it’s a lot to take in if you didn’t read the books beforehand. I still found myself doing additional research trying to decipher the names and the families and the conflicts between all the names and families, but Van Ness’ Gay of Thrones helped me love GOT and laugh at the same time.

Not only did the eighth season of Game of Thrones bring a new opening credits title sequence filled with an in-depth look at Westeros we’ve never seen before, but it brought a new season of Jonathan Van Ness’ Gay of Thrones via Funny or Die.

For episode 1 titled “Winterfell,” “Winterfella” for Gay of Thrones, Van Ness was joined with Bryan Safi to recap the premiere episode of Thrones and it was just as funny as I remember. If you ever feel lost after watching GOT I urge you to tune into Jonathan’s recaps.
