Ryan Murphy’s ballroom culture drama Pose is coming for a second season this summer to FX for 10 episodes.

Pose follows a group of gay and transgender people in 1987 New York as they navigate life through the art of competitive dance, a form known as ballroom. In season 2 however, time flash forwards a few years with drama reaching an all time high. “On the heels of the ballroom community establishing itself in pop culture and going mainstream, the House of Evangelista is forced to reevaluate their goals. Meanwhile, the AIDS crisis worsens and the reaction from a group of activists reaches a fever pitch,” reads the official synopsis for the upcoming season.

Fans favorites Blanca (Mj Rodriguez), Angel (Indya Moore), Elektra (Dominique Jackson), Damon (Ryan Jamaal Swain), and Pray Tell (Billy Porter) are expected to return along with other familiar faces.

It’s a new look, new attitude, and a new season. Pose returns for season 2 on Tuesday June 11 only on FX.
