James Corden Gets His ‘Late Late Show’ Writer To Binge ‘Game of Thrones’ Before Premiere

Count them up Game of Thrones fans, we are THREE DAYS from the season 8 premiere of the HBO fantasy series and I can just feel the anxiety in the air. It seems just about everyone is a GOT fan and if they aren’t people with taste are trying to get them prepared for the final season and convincing them to watch.

On The Late Late Show with James Corden, the talk show host gave a pretty good recap of the show breaking down all the major plot points from the bizarre, the most bad ass, and most heartbreaking. After the recap, Corden revealed it was written by one of the writers for the show Lawrence Dai. Get this though, Dai had never watched the show until Corden enlisted him to do a daring task; watch all seasons of Game of Thrones in one sitting.

James proceeded to lock Lawrence in a room equipped with snacks, a bucket, and all 7 seasons of Thrones to be recorded as he was watching for our viewing pleasure. It’s always funny to see how people react to things you’ve already seen a million times and this was no different. Kudos to Lawrence for being a trooper.
