Well this is it. The official trailer for the live-action “Aladdin” dropped during Good Morning America on Tuesday, March 12. Of course the film became a trending topic with some changing their opinions about the movie and some still feeling the same. I’m the latter.

At this point I’ve looked at the trailer twice and to me it looks bad. Like really bad. I didn’t feel any of that Disney magic and this trailer feels like such a let down since “Aladdin” is my favorite Disney film. Period. But since I’m a wine glass half full kind of gal, I’ll still be heading to the theaters to see this film. I’ve seen really good trailers and read intriguing synopsis for the film to be an absolute mess and I’m hoping this is the opposite case for the live action “Aladdin.” Crappy trailer yet good film.

In the trailer we get to hear some of those iconic songs from the 1992 film like “Friend Like Me” and “A Whole New World.” We really get to see the Genie (Will Smith) in action and he comes off a bit corny to me. Aladdin (Mena Massoud) is a parkour expert, Alan Tudyk has officially been revealed as playing Iago, and the only thing that gave me life was that little cutie Abu.

Watch the official trailer for “Aladdin” in the clip below. How are you feeling the official look into the film? Share your thoughts in the comments.
