Jordan Peele’s “Us” Gets NEW Eerie Trailer

Jordan Peele has a new nightmare to bring to theaters in March. After the success of his 2017 film “Get Out,” which earned Peele an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, fans and critics alike are anxiously awaiting “Us,” the new project from the actor/writer/producer.

The first trailer for the film dropped back in December and became a trending topic as people immediately tried to dissect the entire movie based on the brief clip. Luniz’ “I Got 5 On It” spiked in sales for the eerie use in the trailer, rabbits haven’t been this talked about since “Fatal Attraction,” and don’t get me started on how shadows were picked apart.

“Us” is described as a story that will follow a family going to their beach house expecting to enjoy some downtime with friends and each other. Things take a sinister turn when unexpected guests arrive that look just like the family. “Black Panther” stars Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong’o play husband and wife and The Handmaid’s Tale Elisabeth Moss stars as a close family friend. A new trailer for the film premiered during Super Bowl Sunday.

Peele has a way of subtly placing a magnifying glass to issues we are facing in today’s society and I’m sure his latest project will have everyone talking once more. “Us” comes to theaters March 22, 2019.
