Nicki Minaj Brings Her ‘Queen’-dom To The VMAs Performing “Barbie Dreams’

Nicki Minaj fans sure know how to get a performance LIT!

During the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards Nicki Minaj took home a moon man for the Best Hip Hop category and gave an electrifying remote performance later in the show. Minaj brought her Queen album to life opening up her performance with “Majesty.” The audience was filled with Barbz (Nicki’s fan base) because they yelled every word of her verse making the set that much more entertaining.

Minaj continued with her controversial, and possibly her best record off her new album, “Barbie Dreams” ending with her verse from 6ix9ine’s “Fefe.” Say what you want about Nicki these days, but this performance was outstanding. Early next month fans can catch Nicki headlining the Made in America festival Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia. Maybe she’ll bring this same energy.
