Go Inside Beyoncé’s ‘Vogue’ September Issue Featuring Glimpses of Her Children

Beyoncé covered a very special issue of Vogue magazine for their iconic September issue. Not only was Bey given complete creative control, but she enlisted 23-year-old Tyler Mitchell to shoot her marking him as the first African-American photographer to photograph the September issue in the magazine’s history.

Inside the issue Beyoncé got candid about body image after having three children and the issues she went through with her most recent pregnancy, opening doors for the new wave of artists, what she wants to leave behind for her children, going on tour, and more.

A behind the scenes look at that photoshoot shows Tyler Mitchell in his environment photographing queen Bey to the soundtrack of Curtis Mayfield’s “The Makings of You.” Blue Ivy can also been seen playing around and showing love to her siblings Rumi and Sir Carter.
