Ryan Murphy is giving me my DREAM bringing back the BEST season of American Horror StoryCoven, partnered with the premiere season for the upcoming 8th season of AHS on FX.

On Thursday, Murphy tweeted the horror anthology series will be bringing back some familiar concepts for fans of AHS. “The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won’t be happening next year…because it’s happening THIS YEAR. AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER,” he tweeted. Coven, season 3, naturally was based on a coven of witches in New Orleans fighting for their kind to survive. Murder House, season 1, followed a family starting over in an unbeknownst haunted house in Los Angeles.

The 8th season of AHS will bring back alum cast members like: Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates; who will lead the new season. Paulson and Peters are the ONLY cast members who have appeared in all season of the thrilling series. Other faces you may recognize from the show who will be returning are: Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter and Leslie Grossman. Dynasty icon Joan Collin will be making her AHS debut in season 8.

With the cliffhangers in both Coven and Murder House I’m hoping some of the plot points will come to a resolution. Like as much as Madison was messy, I’m hoping somehow she comes back. I would love Misty to get out of hell and I want to see what new witches came out of Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies. In regards to Murder House, I want to know what happened with Vivian and Tate’s baby and who else received a horrible fate in that house.

What do you think about the upcoming season of American Horror Story? Are you as excited as me? Share your thoughts in the comments.
