The Sweet Yellow Transformer Gets Backstory Told In ‘Bumblebee’ [TEASER TRAILER]

“Every adventure has a beginning” and the best Transformer, TBH, is about to get his.

Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena star in “Bumblebee,” the origin story of the adorable yellow car that turns into an alien from another planet sent on Earth to protect humans. The teaser trailer for the films opens with voice over from Bernie Mac’s character taking “Transformers” fans back to the first film that came out in 2007 starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

“Bumblebee” takes place in 1987 when Charlie Watson (Steinfeld) stumbles on purchasing a scared and broken Bumblebee. She then teaches him how to communicate and become the all-star, kick-ass car/Transformer we know from the films franchise.
