Choose A Side: Do You Hear Yanny or Laurel?

Suddenly we are back in 2015 and a nation is divided once more. Back then friends became foe as the decision to pick between seeing a blue or yellow dress was questioned. This time around instead of our eyes playing tricks on us it’s our ears and people are being to asked to vote if they hear the word “Yanny” or “Laurel” in a now viral video. [Listen HERE]

I will admit when I first heard the clip I didn’t hear any of the words. It didn’t sound like any of the options to me, but I guess I was leaning more towards Yanny. People on Twitter were in pure outrage in the thought of how people could even question they weren’t hearing Laurel. Celebs like Chrissy Teigen chimed in sharing her thoughts on the obviously ridiculous subject, but the debate continued.

Many were saying there were two videos circulating saying the different words, but I kid you NOT I put in earphones and returned to the same tweets I first heard the audio on and magically it was LAUREL! And I haven’t heard the “Yanny” ish word since. I’m not sure what the government is trying to distract us from but it’s working! But, there is a scientific reasoning behind the debate going around; however I keep hearing Laurel now and I don’t know what to believe.
