Jhené Aiko and Daughter Namiko Love Perform ‘Sing To Me’ for VH1’s Dear Mama

Get ready for the most precious Mother’s Day treat.

If you didn’t know this upcoming weekend is the celebration for mothers all across the nation and every year VH1 honors those ladies in our lives with an evening called Dear Mama, where celebs and their moms come out for a night of empowerment, gratitude, and love.

This year singer Jhené Aiko and her daughter Namiko Love did a special performance of “Sing To Me” off Aiko’s latest album, Trip. With a slideshow of mommy and me moments of the girls in the background, Jhené and Nami, which she lovingly calls her, swayed back and forth on stage while singing the sentimental song with lyrics like: “Namiko, did you know that you used to live in my tummy? Namiko, did you know I’m in love with being your mommy?” Jhené’s mom and sisters were also in the audience, so there were misty eyes in the building for sure.
