Ellen Brings “Yodel Kid” Mason Ramsey On Show To Perform

By now we all know when something goes viral, especially with children, it’s only a matter of time until the team over at The Ellen Show catches wind of it and brings it to the attention of host Ellen DeGeneres. That’s exactly what happened with Mason Ramsey.

If the name Mason Ramsey doesn’t ring a bell than maybe yodel kid may. Last week a video went viral of the 11-year-old singing/yodeling Hank Williams Sr.’s “Lovesick Blues” at a Walmart. Naturally because of the how the internet is there were countless remixes, memes, and social media personalities recreating the video. Ramsey got on a plane for the first time to visit California and go to the Ellen Show. 

Once there, Ellen asked Mason about how he started yodeling and why he chose Walmart to perform his now viral video. “Well that’s the only store we got,” he said with a smile. The youngster went on the perform and got two major surprises from the host. I may or may have not cried a little.
