Dear Drizzy Drake, Thank you!
A day after Drake announced he was dropping a new single the Canadian born rapper came through. Not only with a bop dedicated to women, duh, but with a music video featuring all your favs in their fabulous glory. With a sample of Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor,” “Nice For Work” is shaping up to be the anthem for women all summer, that is until Beyonce drop some new music of course. Lyrics like: “That’s a real one, in your reflection/Without a follow, without a mention/You rarely pipin’ up on these n*ggas/You gotta be nice for what to these n*ggas/” hypes up ladies for about 3 and a half minutes praising them for all things they get handled.
Now the visual is everything! While we do see Drake throughout the video the true focus is all the powerful women featured throughout. Olivia Wilde, Issa Rae, Misty Copeland, Rashida Jones, Jourdan Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Lejonhjarta, Victoria Lejonhjarta, Letitia Wright, Bria Vinaite, Emma Roberts, SYD, and Michelle Rodriguez all make cameos and I’m living!
