Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum Separate And It’s Not OK

I wish it was still April 1st because this HAS to be a joke. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum have announced a separation and this is NOT Ok.

On Monday, April 2, the two shared an identical statement on Instagram announcing their decision to end their relationship as a couple. The statement started with, “Hey world! So…We have something we would like to share.” That automatically means not so good news and I knew the worst was yet to come.

“First off, it feels off that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for,” the statement continued adding that they wanted to share facts about what was going on between the two. “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.”

In the statement the Tatums, for now :-(, added that there is still much love between them, no salacious event caused their decision to part, and that this would be the only time they speak on the matter. The couple first met when filming the 2006 film “Step Up.” They played lovers on-screen and then again in “10 Years” in 2011. They tied the knot in 2009 and have a child together, 4-year-old daughter Everly.
