I think it’s safe to go on ahead and crown comedian/actor Jay Pharoah the king of impressions. They really just get better over time and I’m forever stunned by how impeccably he’s able to channel some of the top celebrities.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member has been known to get into character easily when impersonating many of the known rappers. Kanye West, Jay Z, and even Drake have been some of his most notably imitations along with copying many of his fellow comedians. Jay Pharoah showed off his skills with only moments to spare with Vanity Fair this week.
In the span of mere seconds, Pharoah was able to precisely channel mannerisms and voices of celebs like: Barack Obama, Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams, Bernie Mac, Eddie Murphy, DMX, Jay Z, and many more.
Watch Jay Pharoah in Vanity Fair’s Celebrity Nano-Impressions in the clip below. Which celeb did he copy the best? Share your thoughts in the comments.
