Disney is in a full on nostalgic phase, but don’t get this movie confused with the 2017 film “Goodbye Christopher Robin.” Yes the general characters are somewhat the same, but the live-action “Christopher Robin” might actually have you in your childhood feels.
The first official teaser trailer for the movie starring Ewan McGregor as the title character dropped on Tuesday, March 6th. In the film McGregor is an all grown up Christopher Robin and becoming overwhelmed by the responsibilities of adulthood. When all things seen to be about to hit the fan, Christopher Robin’s old pal Winnie the Pooh (Jim Cummings) shows up to help him regain a sense of childhood joy about life.
Hayley Atwell plays McGregor’s wife Evelyn with other famous faces playing Pooh’s iconic pals like: Chris O’Dowd (Tigger), Toby Jones (Owl), Peter Capaldi (Rabbit), Brad Garrett (Eeyore), Sophie Okonedo (Kanga), and Nick Mohammed (Piglet).
