This weekend “Girls Trip” actress Tiffany Haddish made history becoming the first black stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live. Taylor Swift served as musical guest.
One of the funnier sketches from this weekend was a scenario where celebrities submitted screen tests for the upcoming live-action “The Lion King.” Big names like Beyoncé, James Earl Jones, and Donald Glover are attached to the project, but SNL had another idea of who should be considered for roles.
In the clip celebs like Kit Harington, Nick Offerman, Oprah Winfrey, Mary J. Blige, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Eminem, Cardi B, and more shot their shot to be considered for a role in “The Lion King” and the impressions from the SNL cast was on point.
Watch who else submitted screen tests for the upcoming “The Lion King” live-action film in the funny sketch from Saturday Night Live in the clip below. Share your thoughts in the comments.
