Wendy Williams Experiences Extreme Dehydration And Faints on Live Show

Wendy Williams experienced a very scary moment during a live taping of her popular morning talk show Wendy on Halloween that made the media icon a trending topic as people tried to decipher what actually happened.

Williams fainted on-air in the midst of her show as she was introducing a Halloween costume contest. The host visibly looked off as her words became incoherent. She then took a long pause before stumbling and eventually passing out. Being the trooper that she is, Williams returned to hosting the rest of the show after a lengthy commercial interlude. She later took to social media to explain what happened.

“Everybody relax. I’m doing fine, just need some water and electrolytes,” read a statement on Instagram. Another statement prior read that Wendy got “overheated because of her heavy costume, makeup, and lights.” Later Wendy uploaded a video to Instagram saying she was “home and hydrated” and would be returning to work the next day to share more on what happened to her. I’m sure people will be tuned in.
