‘Jigsaw’ Won At The Box Office, But Disappointed Hardcore Fans

“Jigsaw” may have won at the box office this weekend bringing in major cash and being the number one film in the country grossing $16.6 million, it was a complete flop in my heart as a fan of the franchise.

The latest film takes place 10 years following the death of Jigsaw aka John Kramer. Bodies start popping up around the city leaving police to believe a copycat killer is at work. Given this is a “Saw” film, plenty twist and turns were expected, but this twist was so dumb, so ridiculous, and so out of the blue that I almost walked out of the theater…TWICE. “Hated it.”
