Singer and music icon Selena Quintanilla was taken way before her time but her legacy forever lives on in her still devoted fans and for the new ones discovering her music. Google forever slays their homepage with animated goodies, but today they decided to do something special.

Google posted an animated cartoon tribute via YouTube with the message, “Today we celebrate Selena Quintanilla: Mexican-American music & entertainment icon, fashion trendsetter, passionate entrepreneur, and community philanthropist.” The video featured her hit single “Bidi bidi bom bom” and showed her journey to fame.
