Jessica Biel Plays Mother With Violent Tendencies On USA’s ‘The Sinner’

Jessica Biel, Bill Pullman, and Christopher Abbot star in the Antonio Campos directed series The Sinner based on the international best-selling novel of the same name by Petra Hammesfahr. The new limited series premieres early next month and is getting buzz surrounding the thriller show airing on USA Network.

Executive produced by Biel herself, The Sinner is about a young mother named Cora Tannetti (Biel) who attacks and kills a “random” man during a family outing on the beach. The rage and act of violence is a total mystery to Cora. Detective Harry Ambrose (Pullman) is obsessed with uncovering the reasons for Cora’s attack. The series will be eight episodes of uncovering the “why.”
