Ellen DeGeneres Donates To Nicki Minaj’s College Fund Initiative Minaj Also Spills On Dating Nas Rumors

Nicki Minaj made an appearance on The Ellen Show today following an electric opening performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 21st. During her chat, the “No Frauds” rapper discussed the performance, her love for Ellen DeGeneres, dating, and her college fund initiative.

On Twitter, Nicki Minaj told fans she would donate money for their education (tuition, student loans, books, and other expenses) if they maintained good grades. Once fans showed proof, Minaj and her team quickly got the money to the kids. “It’s close to my heart because I always wanted to go to college,” Minaj told DeGeneres. She further added that by the end of the year she would have a college fund program dedicated to education where others could donate as well. Along with Shutterfly, the daytime host gave $25,000 to kick-start the fund to a humbled Minaj.

Later, Ellen got the scoop of those dating rumors between the Queens, NY native and fellow hometown rapper Nas. “There’s a rumor y’all are dating and if it’s true I’m all for it,” Ellen said. Rumors starting swirling of the two when they posted a photo snuggled up at the opening of his restaurant about a week ago.

Nicki went on to admit that she thinks the rapper is “so dope” and he’s “a king.” She also said they spent some “sleepovers” together, even though she’s not focusing on men right now because she doesn’t like men. Ellen’s reaction was classic.
