Taystee Steps Into A Strange Universe In Orange is the New Black Mirror

Netflix combined two of their best original programs in a mini sketch and it was the greatest thing I never knew I wanted.

Danielle Brooks and Samira Wiley’s characters from Orange Is the New Black (Tasha ‘Taystee’ Jefferson and  Poussey Washington) channeled Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis’ characters from Black Mirror (Kelly Booth and Yorkie) to create a moment that gave fans of both shows the ultimate feels.

In Orange is the New Black Mirror, Taystee steps right into Tucker’s to visit her deceased friend in a heaven on Earth dream. The clip is a direct replica of the “San Junipero” episode of Black Mirror, where two women meet in the 1980’s and begin a relationship that spans time and space. The series in itself is an anthology show that depicts the dark side of life and technology. The “San Junipero” episode has been a fan favorite because it’s literally the only one with a happy ending. Just watch the show, it’s amazing!
