’13 Reasons Why’ Star Katherine Langford Thought Nudes Leaked When Lady Gaga Tweeted Her

Let me start this by saying Katherine Langford is officially an international treasure and must be protected at all costs!

Katherine Langford, one of the stars of Netflix’s acclaimed series 13 Reasons Why, made her solo, late night talk show debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the conversation took an interesting turn before the two talked about the importance of the series, which got green-lit for season 2.

Lady Gaga has come up in a lot of press for 13 Reasons because Katherine is a big fan. During her sit down with Jimmy she explained how seeing Gaga perform “Princess Die” at age 16 made her become a fan and also helped her self teach a piano version of the song. Later, they discussed when the Joanne singer tweeted her. “I think she sort of knows who I am, which is a weird thing to say,” Langsford said.

Langford went on to tell the story of how Gaga retweeted an interview she did mentioning the singer with an emoji heart along with her name and how she found out about it. “The thing is I don’t have Twitter, right, so the way I found out was, I was shooting a film, nighttime, I didn’t have my phone, came back to my trailer and I kid you not, there were like five messages, three missed calls, everyone’s like ‘Katherine,’ my publicist is like ‘Katherine you need to go onto Twitter right now.’ And I was like, ‘Sh*t, my nudes have leaked. That was my thought.” Of course the audience erupted in laughter leaving a flustered Fallon.

Lastly, the duo spoke about the importance of Hannah Baker’s, Langford’s character, story on 13 Reasons Why and what she’s doing to make an impact.
