A Reunion Special For HBO’s ‘Girls’ Is Here, But Not What You Expect

HBO’s popular series Girls may be coming to a close with its series finale airing on Sunday, April 16th, but have no fear Girls fans because show front woman and lead actress Lena Dunham has a reunion special already in the works.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live,  Dunham stopped by to present a special look a reunion special slated for 2067. Here’s the thing though, if you guys haven’t caught on by now it’s a joke, but a good one none the less. Think Jay Z and Beyoncé’s “On The Run” film. Set to the backdrop of the beloved late 1980’s early 1990’s sitcom Golden Girls, the ladies of the HBO comedy (Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet) are just as feisty and spirited in their 70’s as they were in their 20’s.

Kimmel helps out in the sketch playing Dunham’s character Hannah’s son and Andrew Rannells stops by having not aged a bit. What’s his secret? Oil of Olay and boxed wine of course. Good to know Elijah, good to know.
