Host Jimmy Kimmel brought his Mean Tweets treatment to the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday, February 26th for a special Oscars edition of the popular segment.
If you’re not familiar, the Mean Tweets clips gets celebrities to read mean, rude, and often funny, comments sent to them via Twitter from internet trolls.
In the special Oscars clip famous faces like: Natalie Portman, Ryan Gosling, Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Chastain, Felicity Jones, Eddie Redmayne, Whoopi Goldberg, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Casey Affleck, Emma Stone, Miles Teller, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Bridges and Robert De Niro read tweets sent to them online.
