“Hidden Fences” Is Not A Film, But Took Over The Golden Globes

“Hidden Fences” is one interviewer’s flub, a presenter’s mistake, and the internet’s biggest joke of the night for the 2017 Golden Globes.

Combing Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe’s “Hidden Figures” with Viola Davis and Denzel Washington’s “Fences” and  “Hidden Fences” was born. The mistake first came when Jenna Bush Hager was interviewing Pharrell Williams on the red carpet and said he was nominated for the film “Hidden Fences.”

The next flub came from Michael Keaton when he was announcing Octavia Spencer as a nominee for her role in the film “Hidden Figures.” Of course the undefeated internet took over the flub and made it the best joke. Twitter followers proceeded to combine actors films with stills from actual movies. See what I mean below.
