Billie Lourd Shares Sweet Instagram Message Honoring Her Late Mother and Grandmother

The end of 2016 was an incredibly rough time for Scream Queens actress Billie Lourd. On December 27, Lourd lost her mother, “Star Wars” icon Carrie Fisher, and the following day she lost her grandmother, another iconic actress Debbie Reynolds.

Rightfully so, Lourd stepped off the social media grid while celebs, her Scream Queens co-stars, fans, and anyone with a heart sent the 24-year-old actress prayers, well wishes, and positive vibes during that difficult time. A few days into the New Year, Lourd has broken her silence to honor her dearly departed and thank everyone for the support.

On Instagram, Billie wrote, “❤👩‍👩‍👧❤ Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist. There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.” The message included a photo of Lourd with her mom and grandmother.
