Taylor Lautner and The Sparkle Players Give A Jingle, Jangle Jam

The Northeast Middle School Sparkle Players show choir put in a lot of work for the 2009 Jingle Jangle Jam featured in a hilarious sketch from season 35 of Saturday Night Live. This will forever be one of my fav SNL clips for a number of things, but mainly for host of this episode Taylor Lautner appearing in the show choir and for “Seenta Claus get down.”

Former cast member Will Forte plays the middle school principal introducing the Sparkle Players’ (Kenan Thompson, Abby Elliot, Jenny Slate, and Lautner) Jingle Jangle Jam. The choir attempts to do a hip show mixing classic holiday lyrics with upbeat tracks only to keep getting interruptions from class clown Trevor (Andy Samberg), but when the choir finally gets a chance to put on their show, oh do they put it on.
