Ariana Grande Is “Sweet Like Candy” In Promo For New Fragrance

Ariana Grande has a new fragrance out, Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande, and a new commercial spot to promote the new smell good featuring three versions of the “Side To Side” singer.

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who shot Grande’s “Into You” and “Side to Side” videos, the commercial sets the 23-year-old in a French quarter-esque setting. One version of Grande is of her normal self sipping coffee, there’s another version as an ice cream truck driver, then another as a baker. It’s a bubblegum world basically filled with popping colors and a jazzy beat leading up to Grande hopping on top of one of the trucks to spray her new fragrance on.

“I wanted to create a scenario where all the flavors come together in an unexpected way. An ice cream truck, a baker’s delivery van, and a candy cart, all colliding in the middle of an intersection, ultimately inspiring Ariana to create Sweet Like Candy,” Davis said about the commercial.

Sweet Like Candy is a “luscious burst of sugar-frosted blackberry and juicy Italian bergamot sparkle with delicious addiction, while velvety layers of crème de cassis, fluffy marshmallow and sexy vanilla blend together to leave a sexy trail.” The fragrance is now available where fragrance and beauty products are sold.
