Angela Simmons will be serving as guest host on The Real on Monday and got candid about losing her virginity at twenty-eight and having her son Sutton Joseph.
When news broke of Simmons’ pregnancy, there were many people scratching their heads since she went on record many times about being a virgin. The subject was lightly talked about on Growing Up Hip Hop, Simmons’ WE Tv series, and she got more open about it on The Real.
“We’re on The Real, so we do have to talk about the fact that you were the face of abstinence for a long time,” Loni Love said in a clip from Monday’s show. “So, how did you handle it? Getting pregnant, [Laughs.] I know how you did it. But…,” Loni further asked.
The hosts also pointed out how Simmons got pregnant before she was married. “Right, well you know what. I had a plan. The plan didn’t work out,” Angela said, adding, “And you can’t always plan everything. You know, I met the love of my life and we got engaged. And I waited until twenty-eight.”
Later, Simmons welcomed her son Sutton Joseph to the stage with some help from his father, Sutton Tennyson, for his first television show debut.
