The best thing happened today. During EW PopFest on Sunday, October 30, Ryan Murphy confirmed the best seasons of the anthology series American Horror Story, Murder House and Coven, would be getting a crossover hybrid season in the future. Excuse me while I freak out!

EW‘s Tim Stack sat down with Murphy, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kathy Bates, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Evan Peters to moderate the Ryan Murphy and Friends panel. The conversation took a crowd pleasing turn when Stack asked Murphy about his comments on revisiting the beloved third season of AHS, Coven.

It was then when Murphy revealed that in the future season 1, Murder House, and season 3 would be mixed for one super season. Because of scheduling this won’t happen for season 7, but it’s happening. “We do know what we’re going to do. It’s not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that’s a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre,” Murphy said.

What do you think about a Murder House/Coven crossover? Who would you want to see return? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
