The Big ‘AHS Roanoke’ Twist Is Bringing Us Back To Season 3, Coven

This is literally the best news I’ve heard about season 6 of FX’s American Horror Story since news about the mysterious season was released. Co-creator Ryan Murphy teased the 6th episode of AHS Roanoke would reveal a big twist and although things are still mum there are two things that have been shared that have me jumping for joy: Taissa Farmiga and Coven. 

“It’s the biggest plot twist we’ve ever done on the show,” Murphy said in a conference call with EW. The chat with Murphy also revealed Finn Wittrock and Taissa Farmiga would be returning to show. We haven’t seen my girl Taissa since 2013 on Coven. Roanoke will be making a return to my fav season, Coven, because Lady Gaga’s character in this season was the first Supreme of the Coven we know and love from season 3.

The rest of Roanoke will be taking a turn from the previous episode structured as a documentary type series, but it won’t be the end. Murphy said, “The finale is the wrap-up to Roanoke but the mythology and some of the characters will continue in subsequent seasons. So it’s the ending but not the ending.”
