Beloved ‘Martin’ Actor Thomas Mikal Ford Dies At Age 52

Thomas Mikal Ford who played beloved character Tommy from the 1990’s series Martin has passed at the age of 52 on Wednesday and the entertainment industry is mourning a great one.

Rumors swirled all day that Ford had died before he actually did. His wife Gina confirmed to the media that he was on life support after suffering a ruptured aneurysm in his abdomen. Prayers were sent to Ford from his fellow Martin co-stars: Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell-Martin, and Tichina Arnold and others, but sadly Ford succumbed to his rupture.

An announcement was made on the official Instagram page for the actor/ director/writer/author/ motivational speaker. It read, “To all family and friends of Tommy Ford. We would like to inform everyone that our brother passed away today October 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Please keep his family in your prayers as they go through this challenging time. He was so dearly loved by so many and for that lets all be grateful for a life well served.”
