Music Monday – Liz Loughrey Wants You To “Rise Up!”

In a day and age where everything you see on the news is of death and despair, Toronto-based Soul/Pop artist Liz Loughrey is calling for a change of action in her inspiring new single “Rise Up!”

Written and produced by Loughrey herself, with some help from Adrian X and Supa Dups, “Rise Up!” is a Michael Jackson’s “Heal The World” for millennials going far beyond a song and pushing towards social change with the #RiseUpMovement.

“The #RiseUpMovement is all about telling the stories of people who are positively impacting the world and encouraging people of all ages and walks of life to Rise Up in their communities. We turn on the news and are constantly bombarded with negativity and so it’s easy to feel powerless, but the #RiseUpMovement is spreading the message that we can do amazing things when we work together.. when we make LOVE our theme, and PEACE our goal,” Loughrey said about her latest single.
